Sensory

I have been out and about this week enjoying the weather at different parks. I am really enjoying learning about and watching fire poi in the sensory room, and have been using a poi that glows in the dark under the u.v lights!

Pottery

I am really enjoying joining in on the new pottery classes. I have been rolling and moulding the clay. This is my creation from yesterday.

New Instruments

We have new ukulele's now to use during music. I think I might be a bit of a natural playing the ukulele! I really enjoyed playing it and played some great tunes. I am looking forward to practicing so I can play to everyone one day soon.

Mini Putt

This week I went to Memorial Park to play Mini Putt with two other mates from Arohanui. I was given a golf club and chose my coloured ball. We done 6 holes and all of the holes were different. I got really excited when my ball went down the hole. I am still a pretty good shot with the golf club and had a great time...-

Enjoying the weather in the garden

I am turning out to be a great gardener! As soon as I get to the gardens now I go straight to the hose so I can water the gardens. The white butterflies enjoy a bit of a squirt too!!! Our vege plot is growing well. I have been giving the tomatoes lots of water so we will have some tomatoes soon to take home.

Butterlies...

I brought a chrysalis into work and we all watched it turn into a butterfly. I went on a outing that afternoon and I let the butterfly go :-)

Out and about....

I have had a busy week out playing sports with my mates and making the most of the sunshine. At our centre I have been working hard on my computer skills and learning to use the IPad, which I am getting really good at.
