What an awesome time I had at the Christmas party on Friday! All my friends were there, heaps of awesome music to dance to, and we were even surprised with a circus show! The food was delicious. What a awesome way to end the year.

on monday I had a great outing to the library. I found lots of books on caterpillars, butterflies and planes. We also got to see an ambulance with it’s lights and sirens going along the way.

Rainbow Springs

I had a great day out at Rainbow Springs where we got to see baby Kiwis that only just hatched out of their shells!!! Feed the Fish and seen all the beautiful birds!!!

Today I went to spotlight for a outing. I got a balloon and pump. I was so excited to use the pump to blow up the balloon I couldn't even wait till we got back to the centre.

No.1 spider hunter!

Yesterday I helped the nature studies group to find spiders for their terrarium. I way very good at it! We found slug eggs, a spider and a caterpillar.

Lights

i really enjoyed my outing to the lakes this week to look at the lights at the jewellery store.there was a lot of people and kids in the mall at the floam factory. I got hold of a magazine that had a picture in it that reminded me of my friend, ngaire who came to visit me this week.

this afternoon Tess came in and played her guitar for us. I sat and played the ukulele in the sensory room whilst I listened.

I am doing cooking peeling the apples and making apple Spirals it was fun 

Trip to the Airport

Those that know me well, know I Love planes, helicopters and lights, so you can imagine I was so excited to go to the Airport with My Guys group, unfortunately this day there wasn't many planes landing, however driving back to Arohanui I was able to spot a helicopter and a plane, for me that's a good day.

Apple juice

Making apple and orange juice from some fruit we were given, I loved pushing the fruit down.
It tasted great.

Comvita

On Tuesday I went to Comvita in Paengaroa to learn about the life of the honey bee!

It was awesome! We learnt that bees have 5 eyes and if a bee comes close, I need to stay still to avoid getting stung as the bee is probably mistaking us for a flower! 

My favourite parts were finding the Queen bee and seeing the light show!

i had a blast at the classic flyers museum last week. I really enjoyed sitting in the plane and watching the drone fly.

Awesome outing to the park

I had a good time going to Waipuna PArk on Monday with Sports group. I took along a new butterfly and talked to the council worker. He was impressed by the butterfly on my finger. I enjoyed watching the guy break up the concrete around the park bench.

I went for a drive to the park to play soccer but instead of getting out to play I looked at my magazine. I can’t wait until I can get the Christmas lights out again.

I have been away for a few days and am checking up on my caterpillers.

What can I say, was a really great day especially being able to enjoy a Hot Chocolate from Turkish Delight café in Mount Maunganui.  Ill share a secret with you, they put real chocolate in your hot chocolate not powder!!! Amazing right...I know I certainly enjoyed down Pilot Bay.

Making apple crumble

I did a really good job and peeling and prepping the applied for our delicious apple crumble in cooking. Oh man did it smell good! I can't wait to eat it.

It's my birthday tomorrow!

We celebrated my birthday today with a delicious chocolate cake my mum made and everyone sang happy birthday to me!

Marshalls Farm

what a beautiful day to go on an outing to Marshalls Farm. Had such a lovely time looking at the animals. The big horse, Gabrielle, even gave me a kiss! I really enjoyed checking out the emus. I collected a few feathers. I was so tired at lunchtime that I ate my lunch in the van. I would love to visit here again.
