Taking a Ride with Peter!!!

I have had an awesome day, Thank You Peter Gibson for taking me for a ride on your Harley Davidson, was awesome especially on a sunny day like this. I look forward to many more rides with you!!!

Helping in the Garden

I was such a big help and transplanted a swan plant and planted a lavender. I also dug out some weeds and helped pull out a big bush!! what a legend!

Therapy dogs.

Max and Dennie came to visit us, they are therapy dogs.

Bee Art

I built a really cool Bee out of recycled washers, bolts, wire and recycled materials. I also built a cool honey comb cell out of wood offcuts from the laser cutting outfit next door to Arohanui. It will be really cool when it’s all fitted together.

Carrot muffins

Today in cooking session I helped to make carrot muffins. I really like measuring out the ingredients and pushing the button on the food processor. I even helped to dry some of th dishes.

Memorial Park.

I had a fun outing to the Memorial park to see the sights, enjoy the sea breeze and check out the small train tracks. I loved this Rail way crossing sign.

Spiders and other creatures

This year I am Arohanui's creature creator! I started by making my two nephews very cool spiders out of recycled materials, lightbulbs and repainted canvases. they turned out really cool so I gave them to my nephews for Christmas. 

Now I have finished a wasp and an owl face. I will be mounting them onto frames, watch this space!!!
