Watching Freestyle motorcross

Yesterday we were really lucky and got to go visit top freestyle motor cross riders Nick Franklin and 

Levi Sherwood practice their tricks at Franklin Farm.  They were practice a very hard trick called a flare into a foam pit.  We got to see the bike getting hoisted out of the foam pit, chat to both of them and get some pretty pictures.  It was an awesome day out.

We chose new recipes and planned our sessions.We have new books to fill with all the delicious things we make...I chose some yummy ones !

Christmas party

I had a really fun time at the annual Arohanui Christmas party!! Everyone was dressed up in cool costumes, it was a Fairy tale and Disney theme. there was a Baloon artist there who made me a really cool Penguin, I loved the disco lights and enjoyed seeing everyone dance. 

Making Christmas cards

I had a fun arts and crafts session where I looked after a caterpillar about to change into a crysalis, and I made a card for mum and a card for Lara, I liked using the tree stencils.

All about the wind!!

Today I have been checking out things that blow in the wind, I played with a windmill in sensory and also took a plane/propeller into the breeze and watched it move in its wheels. Cool!

Kaka street playground

I'm went for a lovely outing to the Kaka street playground. I really enjoyed a cool swing that had a sort of space ship seat. It was really fun
