 Today we went to the Cargo shed to see the environment exhibition, it was so cool in there with the big windows looking to the airport and all the lights and artwork.

 Today for Abilities Unleashed we had a beautiful lady come and play musical instruments and sing, it was so fun.

 I loved researching aeroplanes today in computers. TA

Music Session with Special Guest Allen

Today we had a very special music session. Liz’s husband Allen came in to teach us the spoons. He spoke about his dad and how he learned to play using them like the drums. He also showed us some guitar and keyboard. I tried to use the spoons the way he showed us.

 Today we went to the flax exhibition and on the way home we stopped to see the helicopter.

A fun outing to the Botanical Gardens last week where we did my favourite activity watching planes. It was a beautiful day.

Botanical Gardens

 

 Today I had a lovely outing to the botanical and Rose gardens. We were looking at the beautiful orchids and choosing our favourites. We also looked at the planes taking off.

I loved watching the bugs and caterpillars and the beetles o  the screen, I was told that this beetle was rolling so,etching very smelly up the hill

I helped in woodwork, taking this table apart and sanding the legs. I asked if it was going to be cut up but was disappointed to hear no, it was going to be painted

Oropi school calf club day

Ocean Clean Up

Today in Sensory we did an ocean clean up theme. We had trays of sand and blue orbees. There was lots of rubbish all over the beach which we had to clean up. We also rescued the different animals.

We read the book Dear Earth about the environment and what we can do to look after the planet. 

 

Cleanup

 

We got a new vacuum cleaner and I was excited to see it in action. It is funny seeing things disappear off the floor
