Christmas lunch and prezzie

I had a great shared lunch for my Christmas party....... There was lots of yummy food and I got a cool stationary pack for my secret Santa.........

Visitor

I was busy working in the gallery and a butterfly friend flew by and landed on our plants.....he opened up his wings and enjoyed the sunshine.....we hopped outside with the camera before he flew off !

Pottery

I had a great time in pottery this afternoon.I rolled the soft clay,I pressed a butterfly shape into it and then placed the clay over a bowl to dry into shape.I added coils of clay that I had made to make a little footstand.

I had been waiting a long time and very patiently for my caterpillars to turn into a chrysalis and for the chrysalis to become a beautiful monarch butterfly........ And this is me with the butterflies I was so very happy and excited.

Sculpture

This week I have started sorting though cool wires and nuts and bolts to use in a sculpture that I will be working on over the next few months. It will have lights and moveable parts to it, which will be awesome. I'm excited to start looki for flashing lights at mitre ten next week!
